The Curch of the Flagellation of Christ was built in 1753 by the Dingolfing master mason Johann Matthias Weigenthaler in place of a chapel built in 1681. Notable Features: A wooden altair featuring a sculpture of Christ at the Pillar of the Flagellation from 1756, and a positive organ from 1769. With the construction of a new Franciscan monastery around 1853, a dedicated monastery church was built and completed in 1867. The Franciscan monastery was dissolved in 1972, and in 1975 the monastery complex was taken over by the Poor Clares. Since 2002, it has been home to the Black Minorites.
