Information Centre

in the Bruckstadel

The building, which is around 250 years old, was originally used as a toll house. In 1743, the Bruckstadel was completely destroyed by the great town fire but was rebuilt in 1752. Various public and later private uses have shaped the following centuries. In 1999, the town of Dingolfing bought the Bruckstadel and decided to renovate it. Joint utilisation with the district of Dingolfing-Landau allows comprehensive information and support for visitors. The historical context, local ties and originality of the building fabric create a stylish ambience.

The Bruckstadel is a central hub for citizens and guests of the city of Dingolfing. In the historic setting, a wide range of brochures is available, offering information about the Dingolfing Museum, Caprima, current event programmes, city tours, Bayern-Park, and the cycling routes in the region. In addition to leisure opportunities within the district, options in the surrounding regions, the Bavarian Forest, and the Bavarian Golf and Spa Region - of which the Dingolfing-Landau district is a part - are also available. Tickets can also be purchased in advance for events in the city. But souvenirs such as stickers, city flags, T-shirts, magnets, snack boards, various books etc. are also for sale.

A visit to the Bruckstadel is definitely worthwhile. Since November 2014, the city has offered visitors the opportunity to charge e-bikes for free at a charging station. City tours and events can also be booked here. The event room on the upper floor of the former toll house is available for readings, lectures, concerts, presentations, seminars and exhibitions.
