The historic square represents the interface between the historic city centre and the area directly in front of the old city wall. The two-part fountain sculpture by Josef Sailstorfer shows, among other things, a 16 metre long and 8 metre high arc of tension, which can symbolise connection, dynamism, progress and movement. The central city bus stop (Dingos) is located on the square.
