The Dingolfing High Bridge is one of the town’s landmarks. The five-bay brick building was erected in 1612 after the wooden predecessor building was unsound. The construction was initiated by the town, which applied to the duke in 1611 for planning permission and a reduction in the town tax. The bridge leads from the upper town southwards over the Asenbach and was restored in 1966. The structure features an external high bridge arch and a Nepomuk shrine.
