The Bruckstadel dates back to the 14th century and originally served as the toll collector’s office. Destroyed in the great town fire in 1743, the building was rebuilt in 1752. Different public and later private uses characterize the following centuries. In 1999, the city of Dingolfing purchased the Bruckstadel and decided to renovate it. The shared use with the district of Dingolfing-Landau allows for comprehensive information and visitor support. The historical context, local ties, and originality of the building’s create an authentic and fitting ambiance. The Bruckstadel is a central hub for citizens and visitors of the city of Dingolfing. In the historic setting, extensive informational material is available about the Dingolfing Museum, Caprima, current event programs, information on city tours, the Bayern Park, and cycling routes in the region. Not only leisure opportunities within the district but also in the surrounding regions, the Bavarian Forest, and the Bavarian Golf and Spa Region, to which the district of Dingolfing-Landau belongs, are offered.
